Synopsys:
After hearing the big news about an earthquake in Makuhara, 18 years old Yamato leaves to Makuhara to find his friend, Kiichi, who lives in that area. Coincidentally, on his way, Yamato meets Takeru, who is heading to Makuhara as well as a volunteer. However when the two arrive there, there is no earthquake there. Instead, they are shocked to find that the city, which is under government lock down, is intact and is managed solely by children after a mysterious virus results in the deaths of all the adults. Forced to survive on their own, the child leaders must save the city and also fight the government, which tries to hide the truth.



I decided to post more often, since I'm not translating or subbing, then from now on, I will write J-dramas and J-movies reviews. Beats me, I've watched a bunch of dramas and movies but never make any review before.

Okay, I hope I'm not being subjective about this drama since I'm a Johnny's fan. But I found this drama are both thrilling and exciting. It's rare for me to finished drama in just one day. I'm not a huge fan of Sci-Fi, so initially I don't really put any expectations towards this drama. surprisingly, the Sci-Fi elements are not strong at all, there is no boring and long explanations about science and stuffs. However, my review may contains spoiler, you have been warned.





Story 9/10
Put aside the unrealistic theory and etc, then this drama is SUPERB!! I'm thoroughly hooked by it's story line. The eerie aura of this drama makes me excited and a bit scared. I completely forgot about how poor the video quality is, this drama doing great job portraying many emotions and suspense. I don't really like the ending though.

Acting/Cast 9/10
What can I say about the cast? I'm totally in love with them, especially Tsuyoshi-kun who portrayed Takeru and please bless his Kansai dialect. Tsuyo never disappointed me. And young Aiba-kun and MatsuJun are sweeter than cinnamon-roll.



Music 10/10
I never skipped the opening. The soundtracks are amazing too. Yes, it's scary and old-fashioned, still, the music fit this drama perfectly.

Re-watch Value 7/10
I don't really re-watching dramas, especially if it has mystery genre because it's not that thrilling anymore when I'm already know how it ended. But, maybe in the future, when I'm forgot almost the entire story, I'll do it.

Totally worth to watch



In the end, I completely recommend this drama to all mystery fans. It has non-mainstream plot and unique feels. And It's a must watch drama for all Kinki Kids and Arashi fans.
